It has been resolved in the most recent update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons that there was a problem with the Happy Home Paradise DLC that caused some villagers to appear nude in some situations.

Due to a glitch, players of the ACNH 2.0 Items For Sale video game began reporting that villagers in the Happy Home Paradise expansion were being rendered naked; however, the most recent patch has resolved this bizarre naked villager issue. Strangely enough, it appears that the vast majority of these ACNH encounters occurred in Happy Home Paradise, specifically in the café, where characters such as Coco and Daisy could be found waiting tables in their natural state. The octopus villager Marina, who is covered in tentacles beneath her clothes, may be the most unsettling symptom of the glitch, given her appearance.

Nintendo released Happy Home Paradise last month, on November 5, to coincide with the release of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update and the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0. Players can join the Paradise Planning Team on a resort archipelago, where dreams come true for many of the village's residents, thanks to the paid DLC expansion. It is specifically up to players to assist locals on their quest to build a holiday getaway of their dreams. It has been made public that several screenshots of fans' in-game creations have been shared online, demonstrating the complexity of ACNH's editing tools, with fans creating impressive vacation homes modeled after pop culture locations featured on shows such as The Office and Frasier, among other things.

Several bug fixes for both the main game and the DLC were included in Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Version 2.0. 4, which was released on December 15 and is available for download now. It has been revealed by Comicbook. com that Nintendo Support has obtained patch notes that reveal that one particular fix addresses an issue where villagers in Happy Home Paradise appeared to be naked, as reported by Comicbook. com. The following is the text of the patch note that pertains to the villagers who have removed their robes:This fix resolves a problem in which facility members wearing clothing with Custom Designs appeared to be wearing nothing because they were actually not wearing any clothing at all. Also addressed in version 2.0. 4 was the ladder setup kit, as well as issues with the Showroom and seasonal recipes from the American Craftsmanship and Design Center (ACNH).

Of course, only time will tell whether or not the most recent update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has successfully fixed the bizarre NSFW glitch that was previously encountered. If everything goes as planned, the problem will not resurface anytime soon.

As previously stated, the Happy Home Paradise DLC and 2.0 update for New Horizons were released a few weeks ago, marking the final significant updates for the game's enduring popularity on the Nintendo Switch platform before its release on the Nintendo 3DS. The availability of smaller patches and general fixes will undoubtedly continue for some time to come; however, there is no information available at this time about what Nintendo has in mind for the future of the brand. Because Happy Home Paradise is the only paid expansion currently available, ACNH 2.0 Items For Sale fans have high hopes that a sequel will be released as soon as possible after the success of the first.
